City Ramblers Revival are playing at the 3rd birthday of  Ivy House, Nunhead from 5 to 6pm on Saturday 27th August – there’ll be a weekend of celebrations, other bands, barbeques, craft beer, good wine, excellent company in this spacious and delightful music pub. www.ivyhousenunhead.com        free event

September 8th from 9.30 to 11pm we’re at the White Horse, 20-22 Peckham Rye, SE15 4JR as part of the Peckham & Nunhead Free Film Festival following an acclaimed film on the life of Janis Joplin (starts 8pm)  www.freefilmfestivals.org       free event

September 11th between 1pm and 3pm,  Simon Prager and Hylda will be playing with Alan Glen at a coal line teaparty at Kirkwood Nature  Reserve, SE15.   Later Hylda will be reading some poems at the Peckham Festival  along with other poets  at  John the Unicorn, 157-159 Rye Lane, Peckham – 3.30 to 5pm      free events
